Tatung receives Alcatel IP STB orders

Five suppliers have been chosen by Alcatel to supply Internet Protocol (IP) set-top boxes (STBs) for its IPTV platform co-developed with Microsoft, with Tatung being the only Taiwan supplier, indicated industry sources.
