Toppoly officially merges with Philips mobile unit; new company to be called TPO Displays

Taiwan-based Toppoly Optoelectronics announced on June 5 via filings with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) that it has officially merged with Royal Philips Electronics' Mobile Display Systems (MDS) business unit, with the new company being called TPO Displays.
