TSMC could soon be allowed to operate at 0.18-micron in China

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) said it is glad to see that the Taiwan government has shown intentions to lift a ban on Taiwan-based foundries running 8-inch fabs at the 0.18-micron node in China.
