Taiwan Memory to secure IP from Elpida, targeting mobile DRAM

Taiwan Memory Company (TMC) will secure key IP rights from memory chipmaker Elpida Memory to jointly develop new DRAM chips used inside mobile phones, according to John Hsuan. TMC will then outsource production to local Taiwan DRAM chipmakers.
