TSMC to pour NT$27 billion into R&D in 2010, says CEO

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) will budget NT$27 billion (US$850 million) for R&D expenditure in 2010, up 25% from NT$21.6 billion last year, according to company chairman and CEO Morris Chang.
