Arima Optoelectronics reports losses for 1Q10

Taiwan-based LED epitaxial wafer and chipmaker Arima Optoelectronics suffered a negative gross margin of 36.6%, net operating loss of NT$148 million (US$4.6 million) and net loss of NT$144 million for the first quarter of 2010, according to the company.
