Taiwan market: FET, MSPE Asia withdraw buyout bid for local cable TV network

Far EasTone Communications (FET) and its partner Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia (MSPE Asia) have decided to withdraw a buyout bid for Taiwan-based cable operator China Network Systems (CNS) due to a lengthy regulatory review, according to a FET statement.
