Japan carmakers prefer Renesas chips in RFQs sent to Taiwan suppliers, sources say

Japanese automakers have sent requests for quotation (RFQ) to automotive electronics-related companies based in Taiwan and identified Renesas Electronics' solutions as their preferred chip platform, according to industry sources.
