Abstract

DIGITIMES's research and statistical analysis showed that overall smartphone shipments by Chinese brands hit 187.6 million units in the fourth quarter of 2025, a sequential increase of 6%, thanks to Singles' Day shopping promotions in China and strengthened demand from overseas markets entering the peak season. However, compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, the volumes slipped 1.6%.

Full-year 2025 smartphone shipments by Chinese brands totalled 711.2 million units, up 2.2% year-on-year. Smartphone shipments in the China market were 76.1 million units in the fourth quarter of 2025, a quarterly increase of 14.3% with full-year 2025 volumes reaching 287.3 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 0.6%.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top seven Chinese smartphone brands by shipment volume were Xiaomi, Oppo, Transsion, Vivo, Honor, Lenovo, and Huawei, respectively. Of overseas shipments for Chinese brands during this period, demand strengthened due to the year-end holiday shopping season, coupled with some vendors like Huawei expanding their overseas sales compared to the same period in 2024.
