Mitsubishi, Elpida and PSC announce DRAM alliance

Mitsubishi Electric, Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) of Taiwan and Elpida Memory, the 50/50 NEC-Hitachi joint venture, have agreed to form a strategic alliance in DRAM operations, said PSC at a press conference Thursday.
