Brief: Winbond to fall short of LCD driver IC shipment forecast

Winbond Electronics will not meet its original 2003 LCD driver IC shipment forecast due to a delay in the design-in of LCD driver ICs for notebooks, said Tung-Yi Chan, vice president of Winbond’s Sales Center.
