The Christmas shopping season drove Taiwan makers’ LCD monitor shipments up 7.4% sequentially to 21.3 million units in the fourth quarter of 2005. For the whole year, Taiwan shipped 75.2 million LCD monitors, which represented over 70% of worldwide supply.
