More applications for red LEDs attract Taiwan's LED chipmakers

With demand for red LEDs for use in RGB white-LED and car-use electronics to become popular, Taiwan-based LED chipmakers have indicated that they are betting on AlGaInP (aluminum gallium indium phosphide) LED chips.
