Synopsys has announced that it has teamed with United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) to port the Synopsys DesignWare USB 2.0, PCI Express (PCIe), SATA and XAUI PHY semiconductor intellectual property (IP) to UMC's 90nm and 65nm technologies.
