Asustek receives orders to assemble eight million PS2s

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE), a Sony subsidiary, awarded Asustek Computer assembly orders for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) game console. Production will take place at Asustek’s plant in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province beginning in November.
