IBM targets non-standard foundry market with SiGe BiCMOS processes

In a bid to circumvent Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in the standard CMOS market, IBM’s Microelectronics division is gearing up to pursue the non-standard foundry business, according to sources at Taiwanese IC design companies.
