Hewlett-Packard (HP) will launch the Photosmart C8180, its first MFP (multi-function peripheral/printer) equipped with a built-in DVD burner which also supports, the HP-developed, LightScribe technology, in the Taiwan market initially at the IT Month expo to take place in Taipei during December 1-9, according to HP Taiwan.
The Photosmart C8180 will sell at NT$16,990 (US$525) along with a combination of gifts at the expo, HP Taiwan indicated.
In addition, HP will offer discounts of NT$500-1,000 for four existing Photosmart series models as well as varying discounts for Officejet Pro models and LaserJet models, HP Taiwan noted.
