Based in Mianyang, Sichuan, Huakun is targeting growth across ASEAN, Central Asia, and South Asia through two export channels: direct shipments to overseas markets via its Hong Kong subsidiary, and domestic shipments from its mainland headquarters to channel distributors for export. Furthermore, the rise of on-premises AI inference applications like DeepSeek continues to drive export growth for Huakun's AI inference servers. Driven by this demand and rising memory prices, the company’s export volumes and average selling prices (ASPs) are projected to climb through 2026.
Founded in 2020, Huakun partners with Huawei under a joint design and manufacturing (JDM)-like model. Huawei provides production standards and core components, including CPUs, GPUs, accelerator cards, software stacks, and reference designs, while Huakun manages system design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery. In 2025, Huakun led China’s non-x86 (non-Intel and non-AMD) server segment with a 13.7% market share, establishing itself as a vital system-level partner for Huawei’s computing ecosystem.
