Nearly 70% of xDSL modems to come from Taiwan this year

Taiwan-based broadband equipment makers are expected to ship 18.25 million xDSL modems this year, supplying close to 70% of projected worldwide demand of 26.35 million units, the Market Intelligence Center (MIC) said.
