SMIC plans to cut 0.18-micron process price next month, says paper

Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) plans to begin cutting its prices for processing chips for its 0.18-micron technologies by up to 20% to US$950 wafers starting next month, according to a December 23 Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
