CDMA phone shipments from Taiwan to more than double in 2005

Combined shipments of CDMA handsets by Taiwan makers, including Compal Electronics, BenQ and High Tech Computer (HTC), are expected to double to five million units in 2005, from about the 2.5 million shipped in 2004, according to market sources.
