HP to strengthen Taiwan R&D facility and partnerships with notebook makers

Hewlett-Packard (HP) plans to increase the number of staff at its Product Development Center (PDC) in Taiwan to about 240 employees by the end of 2006, up 50% from 160 at present, according to Tom Mitchell, vice president of HP's product development center....
