Samsung faces more competition in 17-inch TFT LCD market this year

With both LG Philips and AU Optronics (AUO) reportedly planning to devote new production lines to 17-inch TFT LCD production, Samsung Electronics will face more intensive competition in the 17-inch panel arena, according to the South Korea’s Electronic Times.
