Realtek ships Taiwan’s first GbE MAC/PHY single chips

Realtek Semiconductor, despite setbacks in the sampling stage, managed to enter volume production of its Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) MAC/PHY single chips last month, widening its lead over other Taiwan-based chip vendors.
