HannStar Display expects LCD monitor and notebook panel ASPs to drop 10% this quarter; company outlines plans for 2006

The ASP (average selling prices) for notebook and LCD monitor panels is expected to drop 10% sequentially in the first quarter amid lower demand in US and Europe, HannStar Display president David Joe stated at the company’s investors conference yesterday.
